How does BEEP support kindergarten readiness?
BEEP provides the activities, educational materials, resources and guidance through sessions and workshops
Weekly one-hour sessions for children and parents.
Each session targets age and developmentally appropriate pre-reading, math and music/movement books, educational toys and a snack. The project staff incorporates the early learning guidelines for each age group and makes learning and skill building fun and exciting for both adults and children.
Two-hour workshops for early childhood educators
The workshops provide books, activities for each area of development, teacher-made materials and educational toys for the classrooms of children ages six weeks to two years and three years to five years. Participation in the workshops meets Mississippi Child Care Licensure requirements for contact hours.
Private and Corporate donations are accepted. Click here for more information.
